Eliris Premium Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 375ml (Limited Edition)
In an area of astonishing natural beauty, nestling in the foothills of the Menikio mountains in Northern Greece, there thrives an olive grove of noble provenance. Home to a rare collection of legendary Greek olive varieties, the grove has been painstakingly rejuvenated by a daughter in honour of her father’s dream.
In this idyllic, tranquil setting, olives are tended with reverence using time-honoured, organic methods. Only the finest olives are selected by hand and quickly pressed within hours of harvesting to retain the fresh, wholesome goodness of nature’s finest gift.
Escaping city life, we find meaning in the art of nurturing olives and crafting our own exquisite olive oil, refreshingly aromatic with fresh grassy notes and a light hint of bitterness.
It is our sincere belief that Eliris organic olive oil reflects within its character the imprint of the magnificent landscape, idyllic climate and meticulous care that has produced it.

Estate Olive Varieties
Produced from a rare, totally unique collection of olive varieties from all over Greece, grown on the estate in the foothills of the Menikio mountains in northern Greece. Varieties include Chalkidiki, Manaki, Koroneiki, Kalamon, Volos, Amfissa and Megaritiki to name a few. The combination of varieties harvested differs annually, resulting in an exciting, unique olive oil every year. Always different and always the finest quality. Uniquely Eliris.
Traditional Production & Modern Extraction Methods.
2,500 trees pruned & harvested annually by hand with skill, care & a passion for the craft. Only fresh, undamaged fruit is pressed, direct from the tree & carefully handled with an emphasis on quality over quantity. Extracted within hours of harvest in a state of the art Pieralisi continuous centrifugal olive press and stored in stainless steel at the estate in a temperature controlled environment. Eliris is allowed to settle naturally, decanted & then bottled.
Certified organic in conversion by BioHellas. Strictly no use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbcides. A considered management program using natural fertilisers and promoting a balanced predator/prey, natural eco-system.
Founded by Iris’ late father, Euripides Efthimiadis in 1974, the estate was chosen for its stunning position in the foothills of the Menikio mountains and specifically for its perfect growing conditions for olive & nut trees. His passion for good food & nature, led him to plant the estate with olive, almond, fig, walnut & many fruit trees, such as peach, pear, apple, pomegranate & cherry to name a few.
Euripides devoted all his spare time to the grove & his family, planting a rare collection of 2,500 olive trees of legendary varieties from the four corners of Greece. A lake was created, fed with fresh mountain spring water to irrigate the young olive trees. He fully believed in an organic approach to cultivating olives, but unfortunately didn’t get to live his dream of sharing the fruits of the grove with others.
“It is this legacy that we have returned to fulfil, embracing his passion & work ethic, to create fine olive oil, table olives and tapanade from our cherished trees”.
